Short Cut Media is a photography and video editing company based in Edinburgh. After graduating from Napier University’s Photography, Film and Imaging degree course, I set the company up to allow me to continue developing the skills I had learned during the 4 years of my honours degree.

Photography

My past photographic work has included portraiture, advertising shoots and wedding photography. I currently use a digital nikon D70s and am on the lookout for a new project.

Video

During my time at university, I specialised in digital video editing at Napier University’s Screen Academy. I currently use an Avid Xpress Pro system on which I have produced all of the films currently on display in the showreel section. I also have a small digital video camera that can be used for some vdeo work but it is not really suitable for night shoots or high quality large displays. Most of the work I currently undertake is assembly of footage but mini dv shooting is still an option depending on your needs.
